Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Patrol Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and property. The ideal candidate will conduct routine patrols throughout the apartment community, monitor for suspicious activity, document incidents, and respond appropriately to security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of apartment buildings, parking lots, and common areas.
• Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, vandalism, and unauthorized individuals.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and policy violations.
• Document all patrol activities, incidents, resident concerns, and security issues in detailed reports.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports before the end of each shift.
• Report maintenance concerns, property damage, and safety hazards to management.
• Ensure gates, doors, and other access points remain secure.
• Respond to emergencies and contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Enforce community rules and policies in a professional and respectful manner.
• Assist residents and visitors with security-related concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to walk and patrol the property for extended periods.
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently.

Work Schedule

• Overnight shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Weekends and holidays may be required based on staffing needs.
