Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Telemetry (Float Pool) – Days

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week | Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and ensuring safe delivery of patient care
• Float between multiple acute care facilities as assigned within the float pool
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Willingness to float between multiple facilities as part of a float pool assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity telemetry environment with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool capacity
