Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Kingsport, TN

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required | No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to other units as required based on facility needs
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside standard patient care duties
• Adhere to facility compliance requirements including orientation modules and drug testing timelines prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Willingness and ability to float to other units as needed
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Ability to complete drug testing within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Combined Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
