Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM/PM – 7:15 AM/PM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a separate telemetry monitoring unit
• Collaborate with CNA support staff and utilize nurse aides, including sitter assignments as needed
• Float to acute care, cardiology, and the emergency department for acute care patient holds as required
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR system
• Participate in a one-week general orientation (including EMR training) and two-day floor-specific orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred but not required
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Medical Surgical setting
