Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 hours per week | Monday – Sunday rotating schedule, every 3rd weekend and holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing interventions and plans of care in accordance with established standards, protocols, and policies.
• Safely administer medications, intravenous therapy, and vasoactive/critical drips; perform accurate and timely identification of cardiac arrhythmias and EKG changes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical ventilation management, including initiation, maintenance, suctioning, troubleshooting, and weaning of intubated patients.
• Monitor hemodynamic status, assist with arterial and central vein cannulation, and accurately interpret arterial blood gases and pulse oximetry.
• Provide ongoing post-operative assessment and monitoring; implement VAP bundle consistently per protocol and report deviations appropriately.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and ensure thorough, timely, and accurate documentation of all patient data, interventions, and responses.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Previous telemetry experience required.
• ACLS certification upon hire, or active BLS with ability to obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Prior ICU experience strongly preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
