Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Some Holidays | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting during night shift hours
• Operate and monitor the NextStage CVVH machine as part of patient care protocols
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia identification, including recognition of lethal rhythms
• Float to other units as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity cardiovascular nursing care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
• Demonstrated CVICU clinical experience required
• Hands-on experience with the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Basic arrhythmia experience required; must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms on the adult exam)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care environment
