Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry, Nights (Float Pool)

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week | 48-hour guarantee considered | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Float between multiple facilities as assigned within the float pool network

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Willingness to float between multiple facilities as part of a float pool assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Comfort working in high-acuity telemetry environments with a 6:1 patient ratio
