Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Night Shift)

Wichita, Kansas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Trauma Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Administer and monitor medication drips and manage telemetry monitoring for assigned patients
• Assist with or support procedures including bubble studies and EEG monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks in a 36-bed unit
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR system
• Operate unit equipment including Kangaroo Pumps in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification or familiarity
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience at large trauma facilities
