Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting supporting approximately 70–80 births per month, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Monitor and manage laboring patients using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) via Fetalink system, adhering to established labor ratios (1:2 labor, 1:1 at delivery, 1:4 mother/baby couplets)
• Titrate drips including Pitocin and occasional insulin as ordered
• Perform neonatal resuscitation at delivery in the absence of in-house pediatric coverage; must be comfortable initiating NRP independently
• Collaborate with OB, anesthesia, respiratory therapy, and OB tech staff across all shifts; rotate holidays with core staff
• Participate in NST antepartum testing and care for patients 35 weeks gestation and above; support transfer coordination for patients under 35 weeks requiring higher-level care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of California
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced EFM certifications
• Ability to perform deliveries independently ("catch the baby") — confirmation required at time of submission
• Must be comfortable titrating drips and operating without in-house pediatric coverage
• Candidates with L&D only experience must have OR circulating experience; candidates with postpartum experience only will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of experience in an LDRP setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Fetalink EFM system and GE fetal monitors
• Experience with twin deliveries and management of preterm patients
