Assistant Teacher - Now Hiring

The Nature Nest Preschool is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Teacher to support our outdoor, nature-based early childhood program serving children ages 2.9-5 years old. The Assistant Teacher will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn through exploration, play, and meaningful connections with nature. Responsibilities include assisting with daily classroom activities, supervising children during indoor and outdoor learning experiences, supporting social-emotional development, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and working collaboratively with lead teachers and families. Ideal candidates are patient, flexible, enthusiastic about working with young children, and passionate about outdoor education and child-led learning. Experience working with young children is preferred. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn are essential. Pay rate will be determined depending on applicants experience, education and overall qualifications starting at minimum wage. We offer sick days after a 90 day training period.
