This role involves working as part of a small team to assemble large containers using hand and power tools in a high-volume warehouse environment. You will follow detailed instructions, use basic math and measurement skills, and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 pounds or more throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Assemble containers using hand tools such as drills, hammers, and screwdrivers, as well as power tools, according to provided instructions.
- Work in teams of approximately five people to assemble each container efficiently and accurately.
- Follow directions and assembly procedures to ensure containers are built correctly and meet quality standards.
- Use a tape measure to take accurate measurements and apply basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment of components.
- Lift, move, and position materials and components weighing 50 pounds or more continuously during the shift.
- Apply mechanical aptitude to assemble and disassemble parts as needed during the construction process.
- Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to support production schedules and team performance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to use hand tools, including drills, hammers, and screwdrivers.
- Ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Basic math skills to support accurate measurement and assembly.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and disassemble components.

- Strong reliability and commitment to consistent attendance.
- Ability to work a day shift starting at 6:00 a.m., with flexibility to work extended hours (for example, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) as needed.
- Assembly or construction experience, including framing or general production work.
- Experience working with construction tools, including hand tools and power tools.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- Willingness to follow detailed instructions and learn specific assembly processes.
- Steel-toed boots (required for the role).

Work Environment
The work takes place in a large warehouse facility dedicated to assembling container units. You will work in a team of five assembling one container at a time, surrounded by completed containers outside the building and a high volume of kits ready for production inside. The environment can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer, so you should be comfortable working in varying temperatures. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots and following safety guidelines at all times. Typical shifts run from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the possibility of extended shifts (such as 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) during busy periods to meet large orders. Attendance expectations are strict during the contract period, and consistent presence is essential to support production goals and team operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
