Description
The Purchasing Clerk will support day-to-day procurement operations in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. This role focuses heavily on processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials needed for manufacturing.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, confident communicating with vendors, and comfortable working in an ERP system, even without deep purchasing experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Process and manage a high volume of purchase orders (POs) with speed and accuracy
• Communicate daily with local and national vendors to confirm orders, timelines, and delivery expectations
• Proactively follow up on orders and hold vendors accountable to deadlines
• Resolve order discrepancies, delays, and shipment issues quickly
• Maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP system (Acumatica)
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (operations, production, finance) to align on order priorities

Required:
• Experience with ERP systems (Acumatica preferred, not required)
• Prior experience working with vendors (customer service, coordination, purchasing support, etc.)
• Strong communication skills — able to be direct and proactive with vendors
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have (not required):
• Exposure to purchasing or procurement environments
Experience in manufacturing or operations settings

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
