Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth from August through May 2027! A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide dynamic services to a diverse caseload of approximately 52 Pre-K and elementary-aged students. With 32.5 hours per week, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families, making a lasting difference in developing young learners’ speech and language skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication skills with children, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in Pre-K/elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on student needs
- Maintain timely and accurate progress notes, reporting, and documentation
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in both individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and families to maximize student progress
