Job Description
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating, inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining CNC machines. You will set up CNC machines to perform various tasks, including drilling, boring, and milling. You must understand setup documents and be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical documents.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC machines.
- Set up CNC machines for different jobs, including drilling, boring, and milling.
- Understand and utilize setup documents effectively.
- Read and interpret specifications from blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Inspect finished products and measure them against quality requirements and tolerances.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with CNC machines.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to set up CNC machines accurately.
- Experience with inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure quality standards.

Work Environment
This position offers a climate-controlled environment with two shift options. The 2nd shift runs from 4:15pm to 2:45am, Monday through Thursday, while the weekend shift is from 5am to 5pm, Friday through Sunday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maize, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
