Located in a supportive environment near Lakewood, OH, this contract opportunity focuses on PreK students, helping them thrive and meet developmental milestones. The assignment runs from July 6 to August 6, with a convenient Monday through Thursday schedule—enjoy your Fridays off and maximize your summer flexibility.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification in Special Education or as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist
• Experience working with PreK or early childhood populations
• Solid understanding of early intervention strategies and IEP implementation
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for individual developmental needs
• Strong collaboration skills with other educators, families, and support staff
• Effective communication and a nurturing, patient approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction for PreK students identified for ESY services
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Adjust teaching strategies based on student responses and learning styles
• Track and document student progress, sharing updates with the team and families as needed
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with related service providers to ensure optimal support
• Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
