Elementary Special Education Teacher

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Details:

• Location: Bristol, NH
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Dates: August 31, 2026 – June 17, 2027 (with possible pre/post planning days)
• Schedule: Full-time | 35–37.5 hours per week
• Setting: Resource classroom with some push-in support
• Caseload: Approximately 15–20 students
• Grade Levels: 1st–4th Grade
• Support Staff: 1:1 paraprofessionals and behavior analysts available

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support services
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification required
• Previous Special Education experience with students in grades 1–4 required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
