Laborer w/Forklift

1. Follow established safe working practices and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
2. Wear proper PPE and comply with all warehouse safety rules.
3. Assemble, prepare, and label shipping cartons according to packaging guidelines.
4. Handle fiberglass insulation, including cutting and preparing materials.
5. Obtain and verify PVC fittings and other materials from inventory.
6. Verify products and cartons on pallets, accept approved returns, and issue receiving reports.
7. Operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles safely (must be trained and licensed).
8. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
9. Perform housekeeping tasks, including scrap and garbage removal.
10. Report equipment malfunctions, delays, or product defects immediately.
11. Execute Cut & Curl tasks (roll loading/unloading, cutting to length, SSL application, core rolling/stuffing, oven control, QC checks, carton packing/labeling, production paperwork).
12. Prepare jacketing rolls and perform miscellaneous PVC department tasks as directed.

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Flexible and adaptable to changing assignments.
3. Effective interpersonal and communication skillsF
4. Ability to work in a fast-pacd, team-based environment.
5. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.

1. Work performed on the production plant floor.
2. Conditions often hot (70–115°ree;F).
3. Packaging requires handling fiberglass insulation.
4. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

1. Ability to stand for long periods on cement floors.
2. Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders/staircases.
3. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
4. Physically able to perform essential job functions safely and effectively.
