Assembler (Electronics & Rail Systems)
Overview
Join a high-quality manufacturing team supporting critical subway train systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies that power safe and reliable rail operations.
What You’ll Do
- Test, install, and repair electronic systems (propulsion, braking, signaling, communications).
- Perform functional and quality testing using multimeters, power supplies, and diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot faults using schematics, software, and test equipment.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Solder and inspect electronic assemblies to ensure quality standards.
- Document tests, repairs, and modifications accurately.
- Partner with engineering and production teams to improve performance and quality.
What You Bring
- 1+ year experience in electronics testing, assembly, or manufacturing.
- Experience using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Soldering skills (J-standard preferred).

Work Environment & Schedule
- First shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- Clean assembly and testing floor.
- Mix of independent and team-based work.
- Steel-toe footwear required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ballston Spa, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
