Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for CNC Machinist openings in Blaine, MN. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow their skills in a precision machining environment.

Hourly Pay: $21–$23/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Frequency: Weekly Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire Location: Blaine, MN

Key Responsibilities

• CNC Machine Operation — Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components

• Blueprint Interpretation — Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications

• Tooling Adjustments — Make offsets, change tooling, and adjust machine parameters to maintain part quality

• Quality Inspection — Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to verify part accuracy

• Machine Maintenance — Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventative maintenance on equipment

Qualifications

• CNC Experience — 1–2 years of CNC machining experience preferred

• Mechanical Aptitude — Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling

• Math & Measurement Skills — Ability to perform basic shop math and use precision measuring tools

• Problem-Solving — Ability to identify and correct machining issues

• Dependability — Strong attendance and commitment to quality work
