Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid, current CDE School Psychologist License is required
  • Demonstrated school-based experience as a School Psychologist
  • Expertise in conducting evaluations, developing interventions, and providing counseling to students
  • Exceptional communication, consultation, and collaboration skills for working with staff and families
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes and documentation
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly valued
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive school psychological services to students at Emerald Elementary and Pioneer Elementary
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to eligibility and individualized education planning (IEP)
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions focused on social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being
  • Provide crisis intervention and support, as needed
  • Maintain thorough records and comply with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Serve as a resource regarding mental health, counseling, and behavioral strategies

This full-time position offers 35 hours per week following the school year calendar, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact within the school community.
