Mechanic

Job Title: Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic (1st Shift)

Location: Marshall, MN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to launch or grow their careers in diesel mechanics. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates or mechanically inclined individuals who want to develop into experienced diesel technicians in a hands-on, supportive environment.

We are looking for team members with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability
• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs, including brakes, hydraulics, and related systems
• Assist with fabrication and equipment modifications as needed
• Maintain and service fleet vehicles, including Peterbilt trucks
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge or interest in diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on skills
• Ability to assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics (training provided)
• General understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous mechanical experience (automotive, farm equipment, or diesel)
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $93600.00/yr.
