We are seeking dedicated general production workers to join our team. You will be responsible for palletizing and shrink-wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, and moving products and materials using a manual pallet jack. You will weigh products before they are transferred to the warehouse and read and record digital weights on a small scale. The role requires moving filled bags, weighing up to 50 lbs, and pushing and pulling bowls that weigh up to 1,000 lbs, which are on wheels. This position is physically demanding and requires adherence to company policies for safe lifting.
Responsibilities
- Palletize and shrink-wrap products.
- Clean and sanitize workstations.
- Move products and materials using a manual pallet jack.
- Weigh products before they are transferred to the warehouse.
- Read and record digital weights on a small scale.
- Move filled bags weighing up to 50 lbs, and work in pairs for heavier loads.
- Push and pull bowls weighing up to 1,000 lbs on wheels, moving at least 8 bowls per shift.
- Experience in a general labor, construction, manufacturing, or general labor environment within the last 5 years.
- At least 1 year of continuous employment with the same company in the last 5 years.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 - 12 hours.
- Familiarity with production line, assembly, packaging, machine operation, and food manufacturing.

Work Environment
Work in a small town/family-like environment with a team of 30 full-time employees. Safety and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are crucial. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, a hair net, eye protection, jeans, a shirt, a bump cap, and a lab coat. Employees must avoid smoking, tobacco products, perfume, cologne, fingernail polish, jewelry, and piercings. Clothing should be free of rips, tears, holes, or added embellishments. The facility can get hot in the summer, reaching up to 90 degrees in some manufacturing rooms, while remaining comfortable during the winter. Orientation is completed on-site in 3-4 hours, with communication regarding the start of work occurring prior to orientation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
