Job Description

This role supports the manufacturing of chemical products primarily used in the agricultural industry. You will work on a production line to manufacture, package, and prepare products for shipment while following established procedures and maintaining a clean, organized facility.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products according to approved batch records and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and safety.
• Operate on the production line to fill containers with product according to specified measurements and standards.
• Package finished products securely to prepare them for storage and shipment.
• Label products accurately with all required information and prepare pallets for storage or transportation.
• Perform material handling duties, including moving, stacking, and organizing finished pallets and materials.
• Organize the warehouse and assist with inventory activities as needed to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Record production data and other required information throughout the manufacturing process with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility and grounds to support a safe and orderly work environment.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, or material handling.
• Experience working in a general production or production line environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and batch records accurately.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and product quality.
• Capability to handle materials safely and efficiently, including lifting, moving, and organizing products.
• Strong reliability and willingness to support a variety of production and warehouse tasks as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in packaging operations or product filling lines.
• Experience with palletizing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
• Comfort working in an industrial or warehouse environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities as the company grows.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, first-shift position with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The facility offers a climate-controlled environment during the winter months, while temperatures may rise in the summer. When heat conditions become too extreme, operations are paused and employees are sent home for safety while still receiving pay. You will work in a production and warehouse setting that involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and handling materials and pallets. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, with regular cleaning of the facility and grounds as part of daily operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasantville, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
