Job Description
The Assembler installs and assembles products in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and written instructions while supporting production operations. This role ensures that all products meet quality standards for fit, form, and function and contributes to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install products in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and written instructions.
- Operate manual, hand-powered, and power tools to complete assigned assembly tasks safely and accurately.
- Perform daily inspections to verify that product fit, form, and function meet specified requirements.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and complete basic process and quality checks as required.
- Use measuring tools, such as tape measures, to confirm accurate dimensions and proper alignment.
- Support electrical and mechanical assembly tasks, including wiring, as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support safety standards and production efficiency.
- Complete special projects and additional assignments as needed to support production goals.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance and communicate planned and unplanned absences in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support smooth production operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Experience with mechanical assembly in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency using manual and hand-powered tools, including hand and power tools and measuring tools such as tape measures.
- Ability to perform electrical and wiring tasks related to assembly.
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail in fit, form, and function.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow calibration steps accurately.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand and perform physical work for 8–10 hours per day, up to 5 days per week.
- Ability to operate hand jacks, pallet trucks, cranes, jib cranes, and hoists.
- Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to move throughout the facility unassisted.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse work environment with all levels of employees.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including self-motivation, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated positive attitude, strong work ethic, dependability, flexibility, and punctuality.
- Willingness to work approved overtime and weekend hours as required.
- Experience in production environments involving metal parts and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with inspection practices to verify product quality and conformance to specifications.
- Comfort working with both electrical and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to maintain an organized workspace and follow established safety and quality procedures.
- Interest in cross-training across different tasks and areas within production.

Work Environment
This role is based in an open production environment working with metal parts, where hands-on tasks may result in your hands getting dirty. You will work around standard production equipment, including hand jacks, pallet trucks, cranes, jib cranes, and hoists, as well as hand and power tools. The position requires standing and performing physical work for most of the shift, typically 8–10 hours per day, up to 5 days per week, with the possibility of approved overtime and weekend work. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and cleanliness, with expectations that employees maintain a neat and orderly work area while following all safety procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
