Special Education Teacher

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Highlights:

Full-Time Schedule that follows the Academic Calendar

Develop, implement, and maintain the progress of each student's uniquely tailored Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Collaborate with General Education Teachers and Support Staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student’s learning.

Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic and behavioral expectations.

Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment to meet the needs of each student.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education OR in a related area specific to teaching students with Special Needs

Active Special Education Certification in the state of Colorado

Must be able to pass the following: Background Check, Drug Screen, and Fingerprints

Strong communication and organizational skills

Prior school-based experience is preferred
