Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Minnesota special education teaching license
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, or high school level
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with a variety of instructional strategies tailored to varying learning needs
  • Positive, proactive approach to problem-solving and classroom management

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver differentiated instruction aligning with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive practices
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes regularly
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
