Managed Care Contract & Reimbursement Analyst (Epic) | Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Managed Care Contract & Reimbursement Analyst to join a leading healthcare organization in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will support managed care contracting initiatives through financial analysis, reimbursement modeling, Epic contract build and testing, and payer negotiations to optimize contract performance and maximize revenue outcomes.

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary Range: $68,390 – $98,586 annually
• Relocation Assistance: Available for eligible candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze managed care contracts and communicate operational and financial impacts across the health system.
• Develop financial models and contract projections to support negotiation strategies.
• Monitor contract performance and conduct audits to ensure payment compliance.
• Investigate underpayments and collaborate with payers to resolve reimbursement discrepancies.
• Review and negotiate contract language during contracting processes.
• Build, test, and maintain contract reimbursement models within Epic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Epic programming issues related to rates, revenue codes, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Develop and maintain datasets and reporting tools required for contract analysis.
• Partner with leadership, finance, revenue cycle, Epic teams, and operational stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
• Maintain departmental processes and documentation related to managed care contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required.
• 3–4 years of experience in managed care contracting, reimbursement analysis, or healthcare contract management required.
• Experience with provider and facility reimbursement methodologies required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word, Power BI, and Excel.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic contract modeling and reimbursement build.
• Knowledge of contract language interpretation and payer negotiations.
• Experience with data warehouse applications and Microsoft Access.
• Previous experience within a health system, clinic, ambulatory surgery center, or similar healthcare environment.
