General Production Worker
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling metal carts for a variety of customers by using both hand and power tools in a safe, productive, and quality-driven environment. You will work on a small team and contribute directly to the production of durable, well-crafted products while following ergonomic and safety best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assemble metal carts and related components according to specifications and work instructions.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure precise cuts and fits.
- Operate equipment in a safe, productive, and ergonomically correct manner.
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Identify and report any equipment issues or defects in materials to the appropriate personnel.
- Handle general production and general labor tasks as needed to support overall operations.
Essential Skills
- Experience in assembly, general production, or general labor in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and correctly.
- Proficiency in using a tape measure and taking accurate measurements.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with metal components and assemblies.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures.
- Capability to work productively while maintaining high quality standards.

- Prior experience assembling metal products or carts is beneficial.

Work Environment

The facility is non-climate-controlled and can be loud, so you should be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with noise and varying temperatures. Standard safety practices and appropriate work attire are expected to ensure safe and efficient operation of tools and equipment.
