Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for experienced school psychologists who are passionate about making a positive impact within K-5 learning environments. You’ll work exclusively onsite, nurturing students at two elementary schools and collaborating with educators to foster a supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Valid, current CDE School Psychologist License
  • Direct experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
  • Expertise in assessments, intervention planning, and development of IEPs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
  • Ability to handle diverse caseloads and tailor approaches to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and prepare thorough reports
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs and intervention plans
  • Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention as needed for students
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress and recommendations
  • Promote positive behavior strategies and support school-wide social-emotional initiatives
  • Stay current with best practices, compliance standards, and professional licensing requirements

This assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering a chance to deeply impact two vibrant elementary communities. The full-time schedule (35 hours per week) ensures a consistent presence, allowing you to build meaningful, supportive relationships with staff and families.
