The Clean Room Assembler packages plastic parts from the production line, performs detailed visual inspections, and prepares finished products for shipment in a clean, well-organized environment. This role follows written work instructions, uses basic hand tools, and accurately documents production output while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Package plastic parts directly from the production line according to established procedures.
- Perform thorough visual inspections of plastic parts to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
- Trim flash and excess material from plastic parts using appropriate tools.
- Follow detailed written work instructions to complete assembly and packaging tasks correctly and consistently.
- Label parts and finished products accurately to ensure proper identification and traceability.
- Document production numbers clearly and accurately to support production tracking and reporting.
- Handle and operate basic hand tools safely and effectively during assembly and packaging activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with clean room and safety requirements.
- Stand for the duration of the shift while performing repetitive assembly and packaging tasks.
- Lift and move materials or boxes weighing up to 30 pounds as needed to support production flow.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- At least 1 year of packaging or assembly experience.
- Experience working with or following written work instructions.
- Ability to perform visual inspections with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Comfortable standing for an 8-hour shift.
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work in a clean room or clean manufacturing environment.
- Basic production documentation and record-keeping skills.

- Experience working in a clean room environment.
- Experience in plastic manufacturing or similar production settings.
- Familiarity with packaging processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and work instructions with consistency.

Work Environment
This role is based in a clean, well-lit plastic manufacturing facility that operates under clean room standards. You will work primarily on the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, standing for most of the shift while performing repetitive assembly and packaging tasks. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and safety, with clear work instructions and procedures to follow. Basic hand tools and standard packaging equipment are used regularly, and the facility maintains a consistent, controlled atmosphere suitable for plastic production.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
