This role focuses on the final shaping and finishing of Structural Insulated Panels by operating hand tools and following blueprint specifications. You will work on a consistent 3rd shift schedule, contributing directly to the quality and readiness of panels prior to wrapping and shipment. The position typically offers 40–45 hours per week and requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools to shape Structural Insulated Panels according to detailed blueprint specifications.
- Perform final shaping and finishing of Structural Insulated Panels as part of the production process.
- Follow written and visual instructions to ensure panels meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Use a tape measure accurately to verify measurements and tolerances during finishing operations.
- Support the wrapping and preparation of finished panels for shipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient production.
- Work effectively on a 3rd shift schedule, typically from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am Monday through Thursday, with a partial day on Friday as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in training and apply new skills to improve performance and product quality.
- At least 1 year of experience reading and using a tape measure accurately in a work setting.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to follow blueprint or specification documents with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new tasks and be trainable in production processes.
- Reliability in working 3rd shift hours and maintaining consistent attendance.
- Experience in general production, general labor, or machine operation.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist in different areas of production as needed.

Work Environment
This is a 3rd shift position, typically scheduled from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am Monday through Thursday, with an additional partial day on Friday as needed, for a total of approximately 40–45 hours per week. The role is based in a manufacturing environment focused on Structural Insulated Panels, where you will regularly use hand tools, tape measures, and other basic production equipment. The setting involves standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and handling materials as part of a production line. The environment emphasizes safety, teamwork, and consistent, high-quality output.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
