Job Description
This entry-level carpentry role supports an active construction site, focusing on drywall installation and general labor tasks while assisting experienced lead carpenters. The position offers hands-on experience in a professional environment and runs through the end of the year. This position is full time offering competitive pay, benefits and over time opportunity! Ideal candidates will have 1 year of framing or drywall/insulation experience. This job will pay $23 - $26 an hour and can start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Install drywall according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Assist lead carpenters with finishing carpentry tasks and general construction activities.
- Perform general labor on site, including material handling, site cleanup, and basic preparation work.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and lead carpenters to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
- Use basic hand and power tools appropriately and maintain them in good working condition.
- Comply with all site safety rules, procedures, and regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift.
- Support other team members as needed to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
Essential Skills
- Previous construction experience, including exposure to active job sites.
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation or closely related tasks.
- Basic carpentry skills with the ability to follow measurements and instructions accurately.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment correctly.
- Possession of a valid passport or original birth certificate for onboarding requirements.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
