Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Quanah, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

Schedule:
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• Block scheduling available

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care for both Med-Surg and ER patients in a Critical Access Hospital
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy
• Conduct EKGs and glucose monitoring
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Deliver total patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using CPSI

Required Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Med-Surg and Emergency Room experience preferred
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Experience in Critical Access Hospital settings is a plus

Additional Details:
• Position: RN Med-Surg/ER
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Start Date: August 2
• Charting System: CPSI
• Housing is extremely limited in the area
• Candidates with a camper or 5th wheel are strongly preferred
• Contract Length: 91 Weeks
