American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Massachusetts, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and evening shift availability.
Details- Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Evening shift schedule, 4x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- No call or float requirements
- Medication management via Omnicell; documentation via Meditech Expanse
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit experience required
- BLS certification required
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Orientation consists of 16 hours with a preceptor, structured as either two 8-hour or two 12-hour shifts
- Meditech Expanse used for documentation
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Local candidates are welcome to apply at the travel rate
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
