Location: Houston, TX 77040
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join a fast-paced machine shop in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of CNC lathe experience and be able to independently set up, program, and operate Y-axis CNC lathes using HAAS Next Gen controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Y-axis lathes independently.
Read, understand, and adjust CNC programs as needed.
Monitor machine performance, feeds, and cutting parameters.
Perform threading operations with precision.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
Ensure product quality and remove defects.
Perform routine maintenance and minor machine repairs.
Maintain production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience required.
Strong knowledge of HAAS Next Gen controls.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience editing CNC programs.
Strong threading knowledge required.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
Strong math skills (fractions and measurements).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting as needed.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
