As a Flight Paramedic, you’ll play a critical role in delivering lifesaving care and rapid transport. Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced patient care, assessments, and emergency treatment during air and ground transport.
- Accurately document patient care, treatments, and transport details, including billing.
- Maintain clear communication with team members, leadership, and external partners.
- Support PR and community outreach initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing training, chart reviews, and clinical development activities.
- Meet all annual competency and certification requirements.
- Operate under Medical Director guidance and comply with all regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Active paramedic certification in the state of employment.
- 3+ years of 911/pre-hospital experience (5+ preferred).
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and PHTLS/ITLS (NRP and instructor certs preferred).
- FP-C certification within 24 months of hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation.
- Ability to pass physical exam, drug screen, and background check.
- Must meet weight requirements (under 235 lbs).
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
