Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location: Los Angeles, CA. This role begins on-site as you get up to speed, with hybrid/remote flexibility available thereafter. Expect regular court appearances and site inspections throughout the Los Angeles area — ideal for an attorney who wants to stay active in the courtroom.

Note: Applicants must be licensed with the California State Bar and have 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience, including trial experience. Candidates without active CA bar admission or trial experience will not be considered.

Job Description

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including insurance defense and civil matters
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials throughout the Los Angeles area
• Conduct site inspections, witness interviews, and case investigations as needed
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents with precision and efficiency
• Develop and execute case strategy in coordination with senior attorneys and clients
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients throughout the lifecycle of each matter
• Apply construction defect defense knowledge where applicable (a strong differentiator for this role)

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar license — required
• 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience — required
• Trial experience — required
• Construction defect defense experience — preferred
• Strong analytical, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage a caseload while collaborating within a team
• Comfortable with in-person court appearances and site visits throughout the LA area
