As an LPN or Medical Assistant in our practice, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of clinical duties for patients of all ages with a focus on pediatrics. - LPN, RMA, CMA, or MA with equivalent experience.
- Excellent people skills.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills with a clear and pleasant voice.
- Neat, professional appearance.
Responsibilities:
- Greets and creates a positive patient experience with each patient and their family.
- Conducts patients assessments including vitals and medical histories.
- Rooms and prepares patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas.
- Performs diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived).
- Administers diagnostic and therapeutic medications, injections and immunizations as directed by providers.
- Provides patient education, instruction and support regarding treatment plans.
- Coordinates patient referrals, lab orders, prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
- Triages clinical calls and calls in prescriptions.
- Enters, scans and updates clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintains and stocks medical supply inventory and equipment.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
