What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects
• Develop engineering plans and oversee project design activities
• Design and manage projects involving roadways, water systems, wastewater systems, and stormwater infrastructure
• Conduct street design studies and evaluate transportation improvement needs
• Perform technical analyses related to new roadway construction and modifications to existing roadways
• Maintain and update municipal maps, plans, and thoroughfare planning documents
• Apply traffic engineering principles to the design of traffic signals, signage, and roadway safety improvements
• Support project management activities, including database maintenance and project documentation
• Prepare and review technical reports, studies, and business correspondence
• Conduct field reviews, site visits, and provide engineering recommendations during construction and implementation phases
• Attend client, public, and project-related meetings as required

What You Will Need

• Current Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 10+ years of municipal civil engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of municipal engineering design principles and practices
• Experience with roadway, wastewater, stormwater, and water distribution projects
• Experience managing municipal infrastructure projects from concept through completion
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary project teams
• Experience interacting with municipalities, public agencies, and stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Traffic engineering experience
• Public works or city engineering experience
• Project management experience overseeing multiple municipal projects
