Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturer to bring on a skilled CNC professional who thrives on accuracy and consistency. Picture your shift: you review the job traveler, load programs, set tools, dial in offsets, and take the first cut. With bore gauges and calipers in hand, you verify every dimension, refine machine settings, and keep parts flowing to spec.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate CNC machines to execute precision machining operations.
• Use measuring instruments (including bore gauges and calipers) to validate part accuracy.
• Continuously monitor machine performance to catch malfunctions or defects early.
• Tweak machine parameters and offsets to uphold quality standards throughout the run.
• Complete routine maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.

What you bring

• Experience in a CNC machinist role (or closely related) is a plus.
• Confidence operating CNC equipment and associated tooling/fixturing.
• Solid basic math for shop-floor calculations and measurements.
• Keen attention to detail paired with strong troubleshooting instincts.
• Clear communication and a team-first mindset.
