Job Description

Immediately hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Operator/Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The position is located on the southside of San Antonio.

Pay is up to $19/hr. based on experience

Shift is Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm (overtime as needed)

Tool and Die Operator $16-$17/hr.
12 hr. Shifts

Duties:

Able to replace / rework if any tool elements are found worn out, broken, chipped, etc.
Responsible for solving tooling issues if any found during running the mold.
Be able to train junior operators in assembly techniques (Grinding techniques, advanced inspection techniques etc.,)
Responsible for receiving new mold’s & conducting incoming inspection.
Handling of measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper.
Inspection the tool elements in height gauge/master.
Responsible for changing the mold tool in molding.
Estimate the work as per plan and deliver the job 100% on time every time.
Prepare the machining sketch for grinding operators.
Assemble tool and ensure all shot-offs are perfectly matched.
Conducts and monitors 5S activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or ED preferred.
Must have experience in mold assembly.
Seeking at least 2 years in tooling industry.
