Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under the direction of licensed physical therapists, including exercise, gait and balance training, manual therapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Record patient progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist.
- Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and goals.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities, safety, and home exercise programs; collaborate with the care team to support mobility and functional goals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensure patient safety, and adhere to regulatory and facility policies.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience (required)
- Texas license or compact license to practice as a PTA (required)
- Active PTA license status as applicable
- Ability to work in a long-term care LTAC setting and perform 8-hour daytime shifts
- Demonstrated ability to work under supervision of a physical therapist and to document patient progress
- Submission includes verification of license and experience; references are not required at submission
