1st Shift - Shipping Clerk

Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Shipping Clerks for our York, PA client.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Shifts: 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm, Tuesday - Saturday

Job Description:

• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with company standards and customer requirements
• Verify and process shipping orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, product types, and destination addresses
• Create and manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and carrier paperwork
• Schedule pick-ups and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, or delivery services to ensure on-time shipments
• Track shipments and resolve delivery or freight issues in collaboration with carriers and internal teams
• Maintain inventory accuracy by recording shipment details in the system (ERP/WMS/Shipping Software)
• Perform quality checks to ensure correct products and quantities are being shipped
• Assist with receiving, put-away, and other warehouse duties as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience in a logistics or distribution environment preferred
• Familiarity with shipping software and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, WMS/ERP systems)
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and reliability

• Fast-paced logistics/warehouse environment
• Frequent interaction with carriers, drivers, warehouse associates, and internal departments
• May require occasional overtime or weekend shifts to meet shipping deadlines
