Newberry Animal Hospital is looking for a motivated, goal-oriented, and optimistic Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our small animal practice right here in Gainesville, FL.

What We’re Looking For:
     The Experience: A minimum of 1–3 years of previous technical experience is essential.

We offer Medical coverage (covers 50% of the plan), vision coverage, dental coverage, life insurance, and Aflac all at 60 days of FT employment. At 6 months of employment, we also offer PTO, paid holidays, and offer a Matching Simple IRA (up to 3%). Annual anniversary pay (a full paid day) each year on your anniversary

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to hazards associated with aggressive patients; hazards associated with infected animals and controlled substances; exposure to unpleasant odors and noises; exposure to bites, scratches, and animal wastes; possible exposure to contagious diseases. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position; otherwise, it may cause undue hardship on the company.
