Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and establish measurable goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, developmental, and functional challenges.
- Complete re-evaluations and update plans of care as needed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), as applicable.
- Educate families on home programs and strategies to support ongoing progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates with pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
