Position Summary
Spine Institute of the Carolinas is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Radiation Technician to perform highquality diagnostic Xrays for clinic patients in a fastpaced, patientcentered environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skill, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Perform Patient Xrays Capture highquality diagnostic images for orthopaedic and spine evaluations.
- Maintain Radiation Safety Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
- Support Clinical Workflow Assist providers by preparing imaging rooms, positioning patients, and ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Document and Manage Imaging Accurately label, upload, and maintain imaging records in the EMR.
- Provide Patient Education Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients about procedures.
- Collaborate with Clinical Team Work closely with surgeons, PAs, nurses, and medical assistants to support patient care.
- Uphold Quality Standards Ensure imaging accuracy and consistency for diagnostic and surgical planning.
- Participate in Professional Development Engage in ongoing training and continuing education.
- Valid Radiation Therapy Technologist certification or equivalent state license.
- Associates degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred; but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in imaging.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced orthopaedic environment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient care.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
