Position Summary
Spine Institute of the Carolinas is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Radiation Technician to perform highquality diagnostic Xrays for clinic patients in a fastpaced, patientcentered environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skill, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Patient Xrays Capture highquality diagnostic images for orthopaedic and spine evaluations.
  
  
• Maintain Radiation Safety Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
  
  
• Support Clinical Workflow Assist providers by preparing imaging rooms, positioning patients, and ensuring efficient patient flow.
  
  
• Document and Manage Imaging Accurately label, upload, and maintain imaging records in the EMR.
  
  
• Provide Patient Education Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients about procedures.
  
  
• Collaborate with Clinical Team Work closely with surgeons, PAs, nurses, and medical assistants to support patient care.
  
  
• Uphold Quality Standards Ensure imaging accuracy and consistency for diagnostic and surgical planning.
  
  
• Participate in Professional Development Engage in ongoing training and continuing education.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapy Technologist certification or equivalent state license.
  
  
• Associates degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
  
  
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred; but not required.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in imaging.
  
  
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced orthopaedic environment.
  
  
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
  
  
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient care.
  
  
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
