Job Summary:
We're seeking a Sr. Human Resources Generalist based in the Sante Fe Springs. As a Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will provide support for our Sante Fe Springs location along with other offices, ensuring that policies & procedures are understood as well as applied fairly and consistently. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer service/logistics environment is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 5+ years of progressive human resources generalist experience in a logistics environment with an emphasis on recruitment and employee relations.
- PHR/SPHR certification is highly preferred.

Specific Responsibilities include:
- Recruitment; On-boarding; Worker's Compensation; Supporting leadership development programs with an emphasis of topics to include: Learning Agility, Coaching and Discipline, Competency Assessment.
- Maintain knowledge of current human resource and benefit trends, laws, governmental compliance and company policies.
- Conduct investigations related to specific issues initiated from employees; Track key information/reports pertaining to: succession planning, turnover trends, market compensation data; employee relation issues and other key HR related task.
Other Responsibilities:
- Coordinate annual merit and employee evaluation process. Some travel is required.
- Support the Human Resources Director as needed.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a logistics operations environment preferred.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification in this field or similar is required.
