Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a CNC Press Brake Operator for a leading manufacturing company located in North or South San Antonio. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components that meet precise specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who takes pride in craftsmanship, quality, and teamwork.
As a CNC Press Brake Operator, you’ll be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating CNC press brake machines according to production drawings and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools and making necessary adjustments.
- Performing routine maintenance and reporting equipment issues promptly.
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to meet daily goals and deadlines.
What you’ll need:
- 1.5+ years of experience operating a CNC press brake (Amada, Trumpf, or similar preferred).
- Must have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting for 2-4+ years.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work occasional weekends and overtime.
Perks:
- Pay range: $22–$34 per hour, depending on experience.
- Consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-3:00am.
- Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends if needed.
