We are seeking a diligent, organized Warehouse Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of warehouse operations, excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately.
- Check, inspect and record shipments with material or products.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies.
- Coordinate and manage daily physical cycle count.
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase, and return as well as defective items to inform quality control.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Clerk or similar role.
- Familiarity with use of warehouse equipment and inventory.
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
- Ability to lift or move heavy products up to 60 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions like squatting, standing, walking, climbing, etc.
- Regular exposure to all weather conditions including hot, humid, cold, rain, etc.
- Will be required to wear protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed shoes.
