We are seeking a Full time and PRN Registered Medication Aides for the following programs in Suffolk, VA facilities:

We are seeking a Full time and PRN Registered Medication Aides for the following programs in Suffolk, VA facilities:
- Behavioral Health Assisted Living Facility.
- Memory Care Unit.
Responsibilities and Duties for RMA:
- Perform direct consumer care such as monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, ambulating, toileting, transferring, height and weight, feeding, meal planning/preparation, exercises.
- Administer medication as directed.
- Assist nurses with nail care of consumers.
- Assist Nurse with consumer medical appointments.
- Document observations on consumer progress and activities, tasks performed and response to care in the clinical record.
- Maintain confidentiality of all consumer care and personal information
Qualifications and Skills for RMA:
- Licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Licensure as a Medication Aide.
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
- Long term Care experience preferred.
- Proficient in using Electronic medical records.
- Basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Regulations preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's.
